Thermographic Surveys
- Every object contains heat which is radiated as infrared energy. Thermographic Video Cameras, like camcorders can detect this radiated energy, capture it as a video image and measure the peak temperature.
- Electrical connections go bad due to changing loads. Loose connections get hot. Heat damages the insulation around the conductor and soon fails, causing equipment damage, fire, explosion, or all three.
