A mechanical systems inspection by Power Distribution Solutions, LLC is a detailed report of all the aspects of the mechanical systems of your facility.  The purpose of this inspection is to visually inspect and operate the built-in mechanical equipment observed on site and provide an opinion of any electrical deficiencies apparent at the time of the inspection.

Using infrared thermography, property owners and managers have a real-time means of mechanical system performance discovery. With the use of our patented PDS Heat-Seeker technology our technicians can support existing programs with powered system performance integrity.

Visual Observations

The scope of all PDS mechanical systems inspections includes visual observations of the readily accessible mechanical equipment without disassembly of any unit inspected and without removing items causing visual obstruction. The functional equipment is generally operated in at least one mode, but not necessarily every mode, suited to demonstrate its condition.

Special equipment which is present on-site, not normally encountered for the type of structure or not related to operation of the structure, may not be included without request, or if PDS is not familiar with the equipment.

The use of infrared in testing mechanical systems allows for the testing of multiple electrical and mechanical connection points, while under normal operating circumstances, offering visual load-based evidence to the effectiveness of physical service programs with a means of visual documentation.
